This typically involves using manual push camera units to inspect pipes. Successful candidates will possess effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills, in addition to being capable of learning and implementing basic mechanical repair skills while in the field.


  • Operate and maintain the sewer inspection equipment
  • Locate sewer service lines, mains, and laterals
  • Locate other utilities if needed, such as water lines, dog fences, sprinkler systems, and any other utilities
  • Create and manage digital records of findings for future reference
  • Operate pushrod camera for sewer service line inspections
  • Interaction with home owners regarding process
  • Load and unload equipment and materials
  • Setup traffic control around work area and vehicles
  • Performing regular cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors
  • Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
  • Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination
